Please note finding certified trainees who are available to tutor and forecasting need from semester to semester is an uphill struggle. For that reason, ASC recruits year-round and always welcomes applications from qualified students. Yes. ASC Consultants

Rather than paying experts to sit and not tutor if no students enter the ASC, we pay our experts for the time they are working with students. Appointments make this possible. Consultations can be produced 30-minute or one-hour tutoring sessions. The last five (5) minutes of a 30-minute appointment and the last 10 minutes of a one-hour visit is committed to reinforcing learned principles and planning future actions.

The time spent evaluating what was discovered and determining the actions that need to be taken to ensure the knowledge is maintained and the finding out procedure continues is a similarly essential component of tutoring. In addition to assisting you with the features teachers anticipate to see in your writing (organized ideas, a strong thesis, synthesized proof, an appropriate response to the project, and so on), ASC writing specialists will assist you discover how to best recognize and improve stylistic, grammatical, reference/citation, and other English language concerns in your writing.

The peer expert's goal is to assist you become a more powerful author, not just to make that particular piece of writing more powerful. The specialist will never do something about it that would endanger your ownership of your writing or your development as an author. Our goal is to make you self-sufficient, and to put ourselves out of organization! Since  Another Point of View  are an instructional service, we firmly insist that the boundary stays clear between the function of the peer consultant as a guide and collaborator and your role as the trainee who is solely responsible for your work.
